A local client of ours had a bad Memorial Day weekend. Their non-Bitnetix VOIP provider went down, leaving them with something decidedly not the right communication.
Monday morning, one of their network storage servers developed hardware failure. It's functional, but they're running on borrowed time as we figure out how to decouple the operation system from the data and make sure it all still works with minimal downtime. Then this afternoon, their VOIP provider (which is not Bitnetix) went down. We'd previously given this client a test account on our VOIP platform, and this is what they had to say:
When it rains it pours. Our VOIP provider just went down this morning… So I figured now would be a good time to test your VOIP service. I set it up as a sip proxy. Worked right out of the gate. 🙂
I have only tried calling my cell phone, but so far, brilliant.
This serves to prove that a Bitnetix client is always able to properly communicate with their clients, even when their current VOIP provider isn't.
